Many of us probably have our summer wine-events calendar filled up, but if you're looking for some good dates for the fall, here's one on Long Island that is worth the drive from anywhere.The 28th annual Merlot World Classic is scheduled for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 17. More than 60 different merlots from around the globe will be available for sampling at The Lenz Winery, located on the North Shore of Suffolk County.
